The future of the park

Aqualandia is going to fulfill an important step in the next future. In a short time will begin the works to build the largest themed water park in the world.

The project schedules the enlargement and the develpoment of the present water park, that covers at the moment 80.000 square metres, in a themed park of new design, where water is still the principal element but it will be able to offer relax and fun for 365 days per year.

The principal characteristics of the project are guinness records. In the new Aqualandia there will be a crystal dome of 8.000 square metres, unique of this kind, and inside there will be a wellness center, a playing area with water slides, waterfalls, whirlpool baths.

The main theme will be the same that now characterizes so strongly Aqualandia: the tropics. There will be also a hotel-resort, 15 floors height with 300 5-star rooms. Next to the hotel-resort will rise a 170  metre revolving tower, that will be the highest in Italy. At the top of the tower, divided in 4 floors, there will be a luxury restaurant and an exclusive bar where the guests will enjoy the wonderful view: Venice and the Croatian coasts. Outside, on the top of the tower, will be installed a platform for the bunjee jumping, where it will be possible to jump at more than 150 metres height. It will be the highest platform for this sport in the world.

On a 30.000 square metre area will be built the first pool in the world with oceanic waves, 3 metres height. The waves can be ridden with surfboards and at the border of the pool it will be possible to relax on the white caribbean sand and have fun in differrent entertainment, disco-bar and restaurants open night and day.

The scheduled investment for the structure is more than 100 million euro and the purpose is to realize a real fun oasis, where every guest will be able to find his own space throughout the year.
